Goth Gurl

This tutorial was written for those that have knowledge of PSP.

 

Tutorial written with PSP X2 but should work in any version of PSP

 

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Tubes of Choice

I used the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis

You must purchase a license to use his work.

Pay to use Scrap Kit: Pink Punk

You can find the FTU add-on here: Diamond Diva Add On

Scrap kit by: Nee @ Envied & Admired

Tag Template by: Missy at Divine Intentionz

It is template number 253: Template

 

Plugins Used all are optional:

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow

 

Font of Choice

 

Lest Get Started:

 

This is going to be a pretty easy tut!

 

Open the template

Hold down ShiftD so you duplicate the image.

Close your original

Delete the copyright layer

 

Image>Canvas Size

 

With these settings:

Also close off the Two skull layers and the cute lil goth gurl layer

 

Open:Paper_16

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Select the frame background layer

 

Go to Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Go back to your paper layer

Selections>Invert

Hit Delete on your keyboard

 

Selections>Invert

 

Create a new Raster layer above the paper layer

 

Flood Fill the new layer with black

 

Selections> Select None

 

Set the layer opacity to 44

Your tag should look like this now:

Open: Paper_20

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Drag the paper layer to where it is right above the rectangle1 layer

 

Select the rectangle1 layer

 

Go to Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Go back to your paper layer

Selections>Invert

Hit Delete on your keyboard

Selections>Select None

 

Lets clean up the layers a bit

 

Delete the rectangle1 and frame background layers

 

Open: wire_5

 

Copy and paste as a new layer below your black rectangle

 

Image>Resize

These settings:

Open your tube

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Position like mine

 

Add a gradient glow with these settings:

Open: Guitar_4

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Move below your black layer with the opacity set low

 

Image>Resize

with these settings:

Position like mine:

Open: corset_2

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

With these settings:

Image>Free Rotate

With these settings:

Move the layer below your tube layer

 

Position like mine:

Open: bow_8

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Image>Resize

With these settings:

Duplicate the layer

Position like mine:

 

pre1.jpg

 

(I moved the bottom bow under my tube)

 

Open: skull_1

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Image>Resize

With these settings:

Open the original skull layers

 

Place this skull over the left one

 

Duplicate layer

 

Image>Mirror

 

If you need to move it should be over the skull on the right side

 

Delete the original skull layers

 

Add a gradient glow to both of your skulls

Tag should look like this:

Open: star_1

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Image>Resize

With these settings:

Duplicate the layer so you have 3 stars and place like mine

Open: filmboard

 

Copy and paste as a new layer

With these settings:

Open the Lil Goth Gurl layer

 

Add a gradient glow

With these settings:

Position like mine:

Now add your name and copyright.

 

I added a gradient glow to my name

 

With the same settings at the cute lil goth gurl.

 

Close off the bottom white layer and save as a .png
