This tutorial was written for those that have knowledge of PSP.

 

Tutorial written with PSP X2 but should work in any version of PSP

 

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Tube of choice

I used the artwork of Keith Garvey

You must purchase a license to use his work.

PTU Scrap kit: A Day for the Green

Scrap kit by Mystic Creations @ Scrappin Dollars

Tag Template by: Jenny at Creative Misfits Creations

Plugins Used are optional:

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow

 

Font of Choice

I used:

Neville Script

 

Lest Get Started:

 

Open the template

 

Shift+D to duplicate image

Close the original

 

Delete the copyright layer

 

Close off all layers except the background layer

We will work our way up

 

Open MCADFTGGlitter Doodle 01 from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

Place in the top right of your tag

Duplicate

Image>Mirror

Image>Flip

 

It should look something like this

Open Brush 1 and Brush 2 Layers

 

Open Side Bar 1 layer

 

Open MCADFTGStraight Ribbon 01

Image>Free Rotate

With these settings

Copy and paste as a new layer

Position over the Side Bar 1

Take your selections tool and delete the extra area of the Ribbon

you don’t want

 

You can delete the original Side Bar 1 layer

 

Open Side bar 2 layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Open MCADFTGPaper07 from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

Delete the Side Bar 2 layer

 

Select the bar 2 you just made

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000> Gradient Glow

With these settings

Open Bar 1 layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Open MCADFTGPaper07 from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000> Gradient Glow

With these settings

You may delete the Bar 1 and Bar 2 layers

(we will not use bar 2)

 

It should look something like this

Open Frame Outline Layer

Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise

With these settings

Effects>Plugins>Eyecandy 4000> Gradient Glow

With these settings

Open the Frame layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Open MCADFTGPaper06 from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

Image>Resize

With these settings

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

You may delete or hide the original frame layer

Open your tube of choice

Copy and paste as a new layer

Position to the left of your tag

Duplicate

Image>Mirror

Merge the tube layers together

 

Go to the previous layer

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

Click on your tube layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

Effects>Plugins>Xero>Radiance

With default Settings

 

Change the layer style to Luminance (L)

Open MCADFTGWrap 04 from the kit

Copy and paste as a new layer

 

Image>Free Rotate

With these settings

Select the frame layer we made

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Select the Wrap layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

Open your tube of choice

Copy and paste as a new layer

Position in the middle of the frame circle

Duplicate hide the top layer

 

Select the frame layer we made

Selections>Select All

Selections>Float

Selections>Defloat

 

Select the main tube layer

Selections>Invert

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

Selections>None

 

Unhide the other tube layer

 

Take the selections tool and draw a square around the bottom

Half of your tube

Hit the delete key on your keyboard

 

Selections>None

 

Merge the two tube layers together

 

Duplicate the tube layer again

Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur

With these settings

Change the layer to Soft Light

Add a drop shadow to the bottom tube layer

With these settings

Open MCADFTGShamrock 02

Copy and Paste as a new layer

Image>Resize

With these settings

Position to the left of the tag on the bottom bar

Duplicate

Image>Mirror

Merge together

 

Add a Drop Shadow

With these settings

Open the word art layers

Open the clover layer

Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise

With these settings

Copy and paste as a new layer

Add a Drop Shadow

Copy and paste as a new layer

Position to the top left of your tag

Duplicate

Image>Mirror

And move it down a bit

Add your copyright and Name

 

Close off the bottom white background layer

 

Save as a .png
