This tutorial was written for those that have
knowledge of PSP. Tutorial written with PSP X2 but should work in
any version of PSP Supplies
Needed: Tube of Choice I used the artwork of Ted Hammond. If you would like to use his artwork please
visit CILM Scrap Kit used:
Moonlight It is a pay to use Scrap kit by: Candy's Treats Template #17 from: Babe's Designz Plugins Used: EyeCandy 5 Impact: Perspective Shadow (optional) Font of Choice- I used AmbianceBT (for name)
Pixelette (for credit) Lets get Started: Open the template Hit Shift D (to duplicate the image) Close the original template Delete the layer named: Raster 1 Okay now time for the fun J Close off all the layers but the circle frame Take your magic wand With these settings:
Click on the circle frame Go to Selections>Modify>Smooth
These settings:
Open ct-Starrypaper Go to: Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize Use these settings:
Hue: 160 Saturation: 78 Copy and paste the paper above the circle frame
layer Resize the paper with these settings:
Move the paper around until you have it placed
to where the frame fades from dark blue to light blue Selections>Invert Hit the delete button on your keyboard Selections>Select None Make sure all other layers are closed besides
the circle frame and your new layer with the paper on it Right click on the paper layer Merge>Merge Visible
That layer will now be called merge We want to rename it So if you click on the layer And then click again on the word merge you
should be able to edit the name
Rename the layer Circle Frame
Okay Uncheck the Dots Layer Open the ct-SilverGlitterSpill Copy and paste it onto your image under the
circle frame layer You can uncheck the background layer and your
tag should look like this now:
Take your magic wand Same settings as before Click inside your circle frame Selections>Modify>Expand
With these settings:
Create a new raster layer Set your foreground color to: #040817 Your background color to: #0c1942
Click on the gradient tab Use the foreground-background gradient
With these settings:
Take the paint bucket tool Click in the circle to fill with gradient Selections>Select none (ctrlD) It should look like this now:
Uncheck your inner frame layer In the feebie folder of your scrapkit Open the ct-GlitterCircle1 Copy and paste as a new layer on your image Resize the image With these settings:
Duplicate that layer Resize the second layer with these settings:
Should look like this now:
Uncheck the inner Dots layer We are going to consolidate some layers: Close off all extra layers except for: Inner Dots Inner Frame And your two glitter circles
Then right click on one of the open layers Merge>Merge Visible
Right click on the merged layer and go to Rename Rename this layer: Inner Circle Close that layer off Open the: Circle Frame The layer with your gradient The glitter cluster layer
Right click on one of the open layers Merge>Merge Visible Rename the layer Outer Circle Reopen the inner circle layer Your layer panel should look like this:
Open the background layer Open the square frame layer Take your magic wand Same settings as before Click inside the light grey square on the left
side Create new raster layer Flood fill with your background color: Mine is: #0c1942 Do the same steps for the right square It should look like this now:
Take your magic wand Same setting and click on the outside of the
square frames Open the ct-Starrypaper2 Copy and paste as a new layer on your image Resize the paper with these settings:
Selections>Invert Hit delete on your keyboard Now do the same for the right side Selections>Select None or (ctrlD) Now close off all your layers except for the
squares we’ve been working with Right click Merge>Visible Reopen your layers Rename that layer Square Frames Your layers palette should look like this now:
And your tag should look like this:
Open your tube Copy and paste it onto your tag Duplicate your tube Close off 1 of the layers
Click on the square frame layer Then with your magic wand Same settings as before Select inside the left box Once selected take the open tube layer and move
her to where you would like her Mine looks like this:
Once you have placed where you want it Selections>Invert Hit Delete on your keyboard Selections>Select None (ctrlD) Duplicate that layer Image>Mirror The duplicated image should now be in the other
box Like this:
Close off all layer except for: Square Frame layer And your two tubes inside the frames Right Click on one of the layers Merge>Merge Visible Rename layer: Square Frame Reopen your layers You layer palette should look like this now:
Open ct-wrap6 Copy and paste right above the square frame
layer Resize it with these settings:
Image>Free Rotate
With these settings:
Position your ribbon like mine:
Open your eraser tool With these settings:
Now very carefully erase the part of the ribbon
that overlaps over you tube in the right box When you are done it should look like this:
Right click on the ribbon layer Merge>Merge Down Open up the other Tube layer Position like mine:
My tube came with a glow If yours did not you can add any type of white
glow around them Open up the Dots layer (finally!!!!) Also open up the diamond I have included for you Copy and paste as a new layer Duplicate the diamond as many times as needed to
cover the dots up that you can see I needed a total of 5 Place them over the dots when you’re done it
should look something like this
Close off all layers except: Dots All your diamond layers Right click on one of the layers Merge>Merge Visible Rename the layer Diamonds Make sure the layer is between your Outer Circle Layer and Inner Circle Open your layers again Your layer palette should look like this:
Open CT-Moonlight Copy and paste as a new layer Resize the moon with these settings
Position the moon layer And move the moon layer one layer below your
main tube It should look like this:
Your layer palette should look like this:
Click on the moon layer Go to: Effects>Plug-Ins>EyeCandy 5:
Impact>Perspective Shadow (optional)
Use with these settings:
Use: Drop Shadow, Blurry (If you do not have perspective shadow just add
a drop shadow and play with the settings) Open star2 Copy and paste it as a new layer Resize it with these settings:
Position over the left corner of the left frame Image>Free Rotate These settings:
Add the same perspective shadow OR drop shadow you used Should look like this:
Open ct-blackpearlonString Copy and paste as a new layer Image>Resize These settings:
Image>Free Rotate These settings:
Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize
With these settings:
Your tag should look like this:
Open Light2 wordart Copy and paste as new layer Image>Resize These settings
Now position the wordart like mine:
Add a drop shadow or glow of some sort if you
would like Now crop the excess white edges out Mine looked like this when cropping
We still need to resize a bit Image>Resize These settings:
*NOTE* You only have to put 500 in the first box the second
box will be automatically filled (your number maybe different then mine) Now add your copyright information I always do my copyright in Pixelette with these
settings:
Now add your name: I used: Ambiance BT Size: 24 White Sharp Then add either a drop shadow or black glow I added a black glow with these settings:
And:
Then I duplicated my font layer And you are DONE!!!! Please feel free to write me if you get stuck on
